After 14 years of IT-distribution covering positions from Sales Assistant, Project Manager, Sales Manager, Authorized Officer to CEO a new chapter started with wasistneu.de, the Agency for Marketing, Sales & Content Services.
As first vendor Origin Storage was onboarded and Ingram Micro as main distributor assigned for the DACH-region.
Some vendors offered already product finders and some of them were really fantastic tools. But we followed the vision to provide a product finder which offers different products from different vendors, allowing online cross-selling and for many situations an one-stop-shop.
BTI (Battery Technology), the US-market leader for high quality 3rd party laptop batteries, AC-adapters and projector lamps was onboarded. The products were loaded into the Upgradebox and successfully communicated to the existing channel.
We signed DataLocker and started taking care of the channel in the CE region. This allowed us to meet completely new business partners in the security channel.
Over the years we won several wonderful customers with the Upgradebox project. Now it was time to professionalize the business and embed it in a proper German GmbH. This gives us a more professional image and allows us the next steps to grow the business.
